How does this automation work?
With this automation you can make sure that when you create a card in one stage of your planning board, a card is automatically planned on another selected stage , with or without one or more days difference between the cards.
This automation ensures that you don't have to create a lot of unnecessary cards.
The parameters you set are stage, next stage, and plus/minus number of working days.
Stage: First choose for which phase the condition applies.
Next stage: Choose on which other stage you want to automatically plan the next card.
Plus/Minus: Choose whether you want to plan the next card before or after the first chosen stage.
Days (optional): Choose the number of days you want to plan the next card before or after the first chosen stage.
Example:
A wholesaler has a planning board with an order picking stage and a transport stage. They want that when they create a card in the Order Pick stage, a card is automatically created on the Transport stage 1 day after the Order Pick.
You can then set up your automation as follows:
Tip: This automation works nicely together with other automations, such as Automatically add activity when card is created in a stage.
