Insight into the capacity of your resources is very important for your planning. This is clearly displayed in the calendar as well as in the timeline.
New in the capacity overview is that orders that are planned in the future, but which have already been given the status 'ready', are not included in the capacity. Because these orders or projects have already been completed, this does not have to be taken into account and you therefore have all your resources available for new orders or projects.
Timeline
In the example below you see an order that is planned in the future in the timeline. In the first image you can see that the order has the status 'open'. Here you see that a graph line is shown in the gray capacity area that indicates how much of the capacity is planned. When the order receives the status 'done' (or the last status if it has been set up differently), you will see that this is not included in the capacity calculation.
The future capacity is also adjusted for projects that last a longer period of time, but which are completed halfway through. In the example below you see an order that has been scheduled for a week. If this order is completed today, you will see that this order is not taken into account in the capacity calculation after today.
Calendar
In the following examples you can see what this looks like in the calendar view. In the first image where the order is still open, you can see the capacity bar filling up. You will also see the number of hours scheduled for this activity on the card. When the status is changed to 'done', you will see that this is no longer included in the capacity.
In the calendar view you can see that the capacity changes in the future for longer orders that are completed halfway as well. You can see this in the example below. In the first image you see an order that still has the status 'open'. In the second image, the order has been completed today, leaving the capacity bar for tomorrow empty again.
